La Verrerie de Biot – a bit of a tourist trap, but one of the more frequent excursions for friends and family. Most of the glasses at the house came from here.
La Papeterie Bar Sur Loup – Chem. de la Chapelle Saint-Jean, 06620 Le Bar-sur-Loup, France. Easy bike ride to a swimming hole and picnic spot.
Polygone Riviera – shopping mall with restaurants and movie theater.
St. Paul de Vence – Ten kilometers from the house (click), cute and artsy town.
Vence – Seven kilometers from the house (click), the old town of Vence is closer, and the market in the tight streets is fun.
Biot – Twenty-six kilometers from the house (click) a cute little town almost on the way to Antibes and Juan les Pins, visit La Verrerie de Biot (click) Hand Blown Glass factory. The kids will enjoy it. A few years ago, I arranged for my kids to take a glass blowing class there (I’m not sure if they still do that).
